Dr. Cheryl is originally from Delaware County , PA. At the age of 12, she knew she wanted to be an eye doctor after completing her eye exam and receiving her first pair of eyeglasses. After high school, she attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Optometry/Natural Science graduating Magna Cum Laude. In 1993, she received her Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia and was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Fraternity. While completing her degree, externships were done at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital, Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA and the Pediatric and Low Vision Clinics at The Eye Institute, Philadelphia. 1993 was also the year that Cheryl married Dave, a fellow graduate. In 1994, she received her Therapeutic license enabling her to treat eye diseases and prescribe medication in addition to performing comprehensive eye exams.
After practicing part-time at several private offices, Dr. Cheryl began at NuVision, which later became Pearle Vision, located in the Hamilton Mall. In 1999, she was joined by her husband, Dr. Dave, and they formed CDR Eye Associates. After 14 years at that location, the decision was made to move on. Wanting to be able to offer their patients more services, and spend more time with their children, in October 2007, they opened All About Eyes, in Egg Harbor Township.
Dr. Cheryl thoroughly enjoys her profession as an optometrist. She never tires of seeing the smiles that light up her patients’ faces when their world becomes a clearer place. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband and 3 children, Alina, Erik and Shaylen. She also enjoys baking, reading, vacationing and taking long walks.
